Opus and Bloom Visitor List.

*smiles*

Well, Apart from having added a “panel” to my desktop that should enable me to blog from a pulldown on my start bar (hopefully having “Blog\/” at the top of my vision will remind me to actually blog…), I have had a busy night.. slowly sorting things out with what will be the new home for talia-tokugawa.co.uk (thanks to kash and lone)

I have been cloning the settings from their server onto the local lamp setup I have so I have a test server right here in front of me. Not that editing stuff on their server is that much more complicated.

My first major experiment with the new server is an update to my old visitor list system, which made two major updates.

Firstly I am now recording the time of each visit not just the date.. and not just the last visit of the av but every visit.. so when I let that run for a little while I will have some decent data to play with.

Secondly I have incorporated Location into the database, so no longer will it just run for Opus, the object in world will send its location and the scripts off world can determine whether it’s a known location and work out visitor counts for multiple locations…

Anyways… we shall see how that runs…
