Another worthy vote on the jira..

**

[Continued from previous post and comment from Dandellion.]

tyies Dandellion… should have mentioned that in the or in the post after but I literally just copy/pasted it from the inworld .

It’s what I do to my sculpties, I also have in to accomplish what the jira post is requesting.

I had a fairly long discussion with Hern the original author of the over these aspects. Playing devils advocate as is my way in a lot of these situations. I am not 100% sure on how successful that feature request will be as there are already ways to get around both the features requested.. (alphas on the maps and for the sizing of them).. however as Hern pointed out, the at least are not accessible to all within .

The other thing to consider in this is server load.. would having in the items that you’d want to protect be more of a load than adding another option to all the possible items within whether or not they needed to be protected.

Confusion over the already confusing permissions system could also be another factor here. Having another option may be a little much for some people. I know that I am still occasionally surprised by how permissions take effect.

Last point here.. As I previously mentioned.. I have written in that will accomplish what the feature request is for. If the feature request doesn’t get the attention it deserves then I have been seriously considering releasing said as Donation-ware.
